Can your guests survive a fatal Christmas?
Invite your friends and family to a Christmas dinner, murder included – a Christmas-themed murder mystery! A hot tip for Christmas parties, Christmas dinners or the Christmas celebration itself!
Just in time for Christmas we present you with an exciting new murder mystery, set at Christmas time, from grapevine.nu. At Garland Manor, Hugo Garland has traditionally gathered his closest, to celebrate what might be his last Christmas. Three years ago, Hugo married the young and beautiful Isabella, to the disapproval of his three children, who worry about what will happen to their inheritances now. The estate also houses the ambitious steward, the son of Garland Manor’s housekeeper since many years back, Isabella’s aunt who is also a neighbour and close friend of the family, and Hugo’s lawyer and oldest friend with his wife. Christmas is celebrated with intrigue, lies and deceit instead of Christmas spirit – and a murder is even committed!
Detective Inspector Winter arrives at Garland Manor to uncover a murderer – can you and your guests figure out who it is?
How the murder mystery works
“A Fatal Christmas” is a murder mystery that anyone can solve! It is easy to carry out and does not require any preparation, dress-up or acting. You do not need to be a particular number of participants; this murder mystery can be conducted with any number of people!
You get everything you need delivered by e-mail immediately upon ordering and print as much copies as you need of the different parts. All participants, pairs, or teams (depending on how you decide to solve the murder mystery) receive a booklet with a cast list and some background information. The plot is then read aloud in four short chapters, which are preferably spread out a little during the evening, for example at different times during a Christmas party or between courses at dinner. When everyone has heard the entire story, it is time to let the little grey cells get to work, as Hercule Poirot would have said. Everyone makes a guess on the identity of the killer and how it all happened before inspector Winter reveals the truth!
Celebrate an extra exciting Christmas this year!
