Mobile event: The Spy Hunt
A fun mobile-based event for adults! Perfect for the kick-off, Christmas party, bachelorette or bachelor party. Divide the participants into up to 10 teams competing against each other for time in an exciting spy hunt. The story and questions are finished, but you as an organizer can determine the route of the spy hunt yourself by placing the positions on a map. The event can take participants from the office to a restaurant or a party venue, a tour in a city you have not visited before or just a turn around the block – you decide!
A trade secret has been stolen by two former KGB agents who now work freelance for the business world doing “buzinez”. You have been assigned by the board of directors to discreetly follow the perpetrators and find out where they go with the information and, if possible, take it back. You have seen the perpetrators of the security cameras and, as they are of known by Interpol as criminals, you have been able to identify them as Pyotr Romanovich Raskolnikov and Dmitry Ivanovich Khodorkovsky. It’s time to start the hunt – but you’re dealing with hard-ass types so be careful! In the briefcase of the stolen document there is a transmitter so you can follow the spies.
ARTICIPANTS RECEIVE MAP & QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS IN MOBILE
The event is carried out entirely on mobile. Each team receives a text message with the mission. They then get a position on a map to look up. When they reach the position, they get a question to answer. If they answer correctly, they get the next map position. If they answer wrong, they get a time penalty and have to wait before they can try to answer the question again. The riddles must be solved in order to move forward. To complete the event, you need one smart phone or tablet with internet connection and geolocation turned on for each team.
THE EVENT CAN BE DONE ANYWHERE
As an event organizer, you will have access to a small organizer site where you place map pins on a map, exactly where you want to complete the event. It can be implemented in the city, in the park, in the forest. You can use the event to transfer participants, at a corporate event, for example, from the office to a party venue or restaurant. Participants will not know where to go until all questions are answered. You also decide for yourself how long the event should be. However, the riddles need to be placed at least 75 meters distance.
UP TO 10 TEAMS CAN COMPETE AGAINST EACH OTHER FOR TIME
The event can be conducted for a team that helps each other to solve the whole thing or for up to 10 teams that compete against each other for time.
FOLLOW THE TEAMS IN REAL TIME AND SEE THE RESULT!
As an organizer you start the teams every few minutes (combine the start with a welcome drink and some snacks so it does not feel as if they are waiting around) and at your organizer site you can see their progress, you see the time they have been out and the number of correct answers they send in. When all teams complete the event, you will see a result – the most correct answers in the shortest time will win! The whole thing is super easy to prepare and implement, you take care of it all from your computer or mobile!
Three simple steps: create teams > > place out the map pins > > start the teams and follow the results
